Descrição do Emprego - Facilities Procurement Manager

The Facilities Procurement Manager will play a critical role in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of Unilabs' logistics operations through strategic procurement activities. This position requires a strong understanding of logistics processes, supplier management, and negotiation skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies for logistics services, optimizing supplier relationships, and driving cost savings and operational improvements. 

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Procurement Strategy: 

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for facilities, logistics services, considering cost, quality, and delivery performance. 
  • Ensure alignment with company objectives and logistics requirements. 

2. Supplier Management: 

  • Identify, evaluate, and select suitable logistic service providers. 
  • Negotiate contracts and terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve favorable pricing and service levels. 
  • Manage relationships with key logistics external service providers and partners, to ensure adherence to agreed SLAs and KPIs. 

3. Cost Optimization: 

  •  Conduct regular cost analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. 
  • Implement strategies to optimize logistics spend, such as consolidation, route optimization, and inventory management. 

4. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: 

  • Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor logistics service provider performance. 
  • Regularly review supplier performance data and drive corrective actions where necessary. 
  • Prepare and present reports on logistics procurement activities and performance to senior management. 
  • Internal collaboration with key strategic stakeholders 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field. 
  • Proven experience (8-10 years) in procurement, specifically in logistics and transportation. 
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills. 
  • In-depth understanding of logistics operations and best practices. 
  • analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Knowledge of regulations and compliance requirements related to logistics procurement, ideally in a highly regulated sector such as healthcare or pharmaceuticals 
  • Full proficiency in English is mandatory. Additional language proficiency is a plus.
