Our GBS is looking for a Finance Cash Accountant to be based in Santa Maria da Feira.

Your mission, roles and responsibilities

The Cash analyst is fully accountable for the cash accounting, cash forecast, monitoring and  customer collections follow-up. The role needs to have a strong customer knowledge and intimacy to ensure cash collection on time and analytical capabilities to perform cash tracking on different levels. As part of this role, he/she need to act proactively and with autonomy, leading action plans and work together with teams.

Key responsibilities:

- Manage customer relationship & intimacy. 
- Work pro-actively with anticipation to anticipate any payment in delay
- Lead & Follow action plan with internal partners.
- Control and monitoring Treasury balances in a daily basis

- Calculation of the direct cash forecast & actuals in a monthly basis
- Daily follow up of bank accounts & booking in the accounting of all related items
- Factoring/confirming management & follow up

Your profile and competencies to succeed

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field;
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in finance roles;
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP preferred);
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines;
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills;
- Fluency in English (other languages such as French or Spanish are a plus).
