Financial Accountant

Main responsibilities:

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.


• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and accounting analyses.


• Ensure the accuracy of the general ledger and financial statements.


• Preparation of statutory accounts and reporting packages.


• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.


• Monitor and account capital expenditures (CAPEX) related to renewable energy projects.


• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.


• Support internal and external auditors.


• Maintain adequate documentation and audit trails for all significant transactions.


• Collaborate and support BU teams.

What are we looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.


• 2-4 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the renewable energy sector.

• MS Office computer skills (proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point).


• Knowledge of IFRS.


• Experience with SAP


• Fluente in english and portuguese.
