Descrição do Emprego - FinOps Operations Specialist

As a FinOps Operations Specialist, you support the FinOps function with cost allocation, reporting, and operational oversight. You ensure that Swiss Post's cloud cost allocation models are accurate and that chargeback mechanisms work effectively.

What you can do
− Manage cost allocation, chargebacks, and cost transparency reports, ensuring alignment with FinOps PO’s strategy.
− Ensure accurate financial data flows between IT Service Center (ITFM) and Finance IT.
− Support FinOps tooling integration (FOCUS, Power BI, AWS/Azure Cost Mgmt tools).
− Assist in forecasting and budgeting accuracy, supporting the FinOps PO’s strategic decisions.
− Enable clear and open financial reporting, providing cloud cost transparency to business units, Service Owners, and DevOps teams.
− Support training initiatives, ensuring IT teams understand cost allocation models.

What you bring with you

− Experience in IT finance, cloud cost management, or financial operations
− Strong analytical skills and ability to work with cost tracking and reporting tools
− Familiarity with cloud billing and cost allocation models (AWS, Azure, SaaS)

− Team player

Education
− You have completed a higher degree in computer science or business informatics (university of applied sciences).

Language skills
− English oral and written
− Optional: German/French/Italian oral (and written)− Willingness to travel
