French Helpdesk Support Technician (Remote – Porto, Portugal)

Location: Porto, Portugal (Fully Remote – Office attendance required only once per quarter)

Start Dates: 17 August or 14 September (Please apply only if you can start on one of these dates)

About the Role

We are looking for a French-speaking Helpdesk Support Technician to join an international support team serving an innovative French fintech company specializing in cloud-based accounting and financial management solutions for SMEs.

In this role, you will handle advanced technical issues, troubleshoot complex application inquiries across multiple channels, and work closely with internal teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 technical support via phone, email, and chat.
• Investigate, analyze, and resolve complex technical incidents escalated from lower support levels.
• Identify root causes for application-related issues and assist users with software troubleshooting.
• Follow established support workflows and maintain accurate customer records in internal systems.
• Identify recurring incidents and suggest process improvements.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams and participate in ongoing training sessions.

What We're Looking For

• Fluent French (C1/C2) and good English proficiency (minimum B2).
• Proven experience in Technical Support, Helpdesk, IT Support, or Application Support.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office.
• Familiarity with MySQL, Slack, and Postman 
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• A proactive, customer-focused mindset and team-oriented approach.
