Descrição do Emprego - Front Office Assistant Manager

The Front Office Assistant Manager at Belmond plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the front office, ensuring that guests receive exceptional service throughout their stay. This position involves leading the front desk team, managing guest relations, optimizing room inventory to maximize revenue while maintaining guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will exemplify the company’s values and provide guidance and support to the Front Office Manager, and staff , creating a positive and memorable experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee front office operations, ensuring adherence to hotel policies and standards.
  • Address guest complaints and resolve issues to enhance overall satisfaction.
  • Manage scheduling and staff performance, including training and mentoring team members.
  • Monitor room inventory and allocate room as as per guest preferences
  • Ensure guest information is handled confidentially and accurately within systems.
  • Ensure that Belmond and Leading Quality Assurance standards are fully met by the team
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications:
What do you Bring:

  • Previous experience in a front office management or hospitality management position
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Well-organised, methodical and ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English
  • Applicants must have eligibility to work in Portugal
