About the Role

We’re looking for a Software Developer with strong experience in building VS Code extensions, integrating AI agents using tools like Langchain and LangGraph, and a passion for enhancing the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) through cutting-edge technologies.

You’ll be part of a high-impact team, building tools that live where developers work from smart coding environments to agent-driven pipelines, and help shape the future of intelligent development.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing, developing, and publishing VS Code extensions.
• Building and orchestrating Python-based AI agents with LangChain & LangGraph.
• Creating intelligent prompts and workflows that optimize developer productivity.
• Using tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, and similar for vibe-driven coding experiences.
•  Proposing and developing novel use cases for AI in the SDLC.
•  Delivering production-ready artifacts.
• Operating in private (OpenShift) and public cloud environments (AWS).
• Working collaboratively in an Agile team, proposing architectural and process improvements.

Requirements

• Proven experience building VS Code extensions (TypeScript/Node.js).
• Strong Python skills; hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar agentic frameworks.
• Knowledge of MCP servers and their integration within VS Code and AI toolchains.
• Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures: embeddings, similarity search, and LLM models.
• Experience using AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Windsurf.
• Comfortable deploying and maintaining solutions in both OpenShift (private cloud) and AWS (public cloud).
• Skilled in crafting and refining prompts to maximize AI agent performance
• Solid grasp of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), with an eye for AI-enhanced improvements across stages.

Nice to Have

• Experience with developer productivity tooling.
• Contributions to open-source extensions or AI/agent frameworks.
• Background in DevOps, CI/CD, or MLOps.
