Job Overview

We are seeking an empathetic and detail-oriented German Speaking Customer Support Advisor to join a global leader in customer experience solutions in Porto, Portugal. In this role, you will support a world leader in insulin delivery and diabetes technology, providing professional assistance and technical troubleshooting to customers using advanced medical devices that improve lives across Europe.

Location & Work Mode

  • City: Porto
  • Country: Portugal
  • Work Mode: On-site (Based full-time at a modern, multicultural corporate facility in Porto).

Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality customer care and technical support for advanced diabetes medical devices and their specialized accessories.
  • Deliver multi-channel assistance to patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers via phone calls, email, chat, and SMS.
  • Walk users through device setup, software navigation, and step-by-step equipment troubleshooting.
  • Manage order intakes, subscription renewals, and related account documentation accurately.
  • Apply deep empathy, active listening, and professionalism while navigating sensitive or health-related customer situations.
  • Strictly follow defined scripts and operational procedures to ensure full compliance with strict healthcare regulatory and safety standards.

Your Qualifications

  • Language Proficiency: Fluent German (C1+) paired with strong English communication skills (C1 level).
  • Cross-market Capability: Ability to support multiple European markets simultaneously.
  • Core Competencies: Excellent problem-solving abilities, high organization, and meticulous attention to detail when managing large volumes of health documentation.
  • Resilience: Strong stress management skills with the ability to remain calm, structured, and reassuring in urgent or challenging customer cases.
  • Experience (Advantage): Prior experience in customer service, technical helpdesks, or healthcare support environments is preferred. Foundational knowledge of diabetes care or medical devices is a major plus.

Shifts & Working Hours

  • Schedule: Full-time hours operating on standard project operational shifts.

Salary, Bonuses & Benefits

  • Base Salary: €1,649 Gross per month (paid across 12 months).
  • Meal Allowance: €7.23 (Net) per working day.

Relocation Support

  • For Candidates Outside Portugal:
    • Sourcing and placement in a room within a company-managed apartment for 12 months at a fixed, subsidized cost of €280 per month (conveniently deducted from your salary).
    • Reimbursement of your inbound flight ticket up to €400 (paid out on the 6th month of employment).
  • For Candidates Inside Portugal:
    • The accommodation option is strictly available only to applicants transitioning directly from an immediate industry competitor.
