German Speaking Safety Advisor for Airbnb - Lisbon, Portugal

Mercier Consultancy Europe is seeking a German Speaking Safety Advisor to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal, specifically for our partnership with Airbnb. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on safety compliance and risk management for Airbnb properties in the region. Your role is vital in ensuring that both hosts and guests have a safe and enjoyable experience. Responsibilities

• Conduct safety assessments and inspections of Airbnb properties to ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Provide guidance to property owners on safety best practices and necessary improvements.
• Assist in developing safety policies and training materials tailored to Airbnb needs.
• Respond to safety concerns and inquiries from hosts and guests promptly.
• Maintain thorough documentation of safety assessments and recommendations.
• Collaborate with local authorities and agencies to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Report on safety issues and trends to improve overall safety strategies.

• Fluency in German and English; proficiency in Portuguese is a plus.
• Relevant experience in safety advising, risk management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations applicable to short-term rentals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze safety data and present findings clearly.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other safety assessment tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
