Join Our Team as a German-Speaking Content Moderator (Lisbon, On-Site)

Location: Lisbon (On-Site)

Schedule: 24/7 Monday to Sunday (rotative shifts with 2 consecutive days off)

Languages Required: German (C1C2) + English (B2)

About the Role

As a Content Moderator, you will review and process reported online content in line with clearly defined community guidelines. You will ensure the platform remains safe and welcoming for all users.

What You Will Do

• Review and evaluate content against community standards.
• Identify violations and take appropriate action.
• Handle sensitive content carefully and objectively.
• Escalate complex cases according to company procedures.
• Manage large volumes of reports, especially during highactivity periods like campaigns or promotions.

What Were Looking For

• Fluency in German (C1 or C2) and good command of English (B2).
• Strong communication skills with empathy and professionalism.
• Resilience and the ability to make quick, sound decisions.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts (including nights, weekends, and public holidays).
• Important: Applicants must not have previously worked for ByteDance in any role, department, or country.

Salary & Benefits

• Monthly Gross Base Salary: 1,100 (paid over 14 months/year)
• Bonus: 100/month (paid over 11 months/year)
• Welcome Bonus: 3,000 (onetime)
