Global Mobility Tax Associate - Lisbon

Our team helps companies streamline and effectively manage their global mobility programmes in a cost-efficient manner. You will assist our team with mobile employees management, employment tax, tax controversy, rewards, equity, social security and compensation in addition to immigration and mobility policy. As an associate, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. You will work with clients from a range of industries and different geographical locations. One day you could be analyzing a client's tax residency position and another day you could be consulting clients on their Portuguese tax implications while they are considering a relocation or a long-term company secondment opportunity. - You will deliver accurate, practical and proactive individual and employment tax advice to clients on issues relating to globally mobile employees including double tax treaty agreements, tax residency changes as well as tax planning to maximize opportunities for both the employers and the employee. - You will act as the primary contact for employees and be also in contact with client management teams (HR and tax). - You will assist mobile employees with their tax returns and ongoing tax matters. - You will work with national, regional and global coordinating teams to assist with the management of mobility programs and relationships. - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in any field - Open to applicants with relevant working experience, fresh graduates are welcome to apply, and other Tax and consulting experience will be considered as well. - Strong written and verbal communicational and interpersonal skills - Fluency in English and Portuguese - Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
