About the Opportunity

At Hito Solutions, we are partnering with our client a leading global organization to find an experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join their international audit team based in Porto.

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits across multiple areas and business functions;
• Assess compliance with Group policies, procedures, and internal controls;
• Identify control gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement;
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to local and Group management;
• Recommend and follow up on corrective actions to ensure effective implementation;
• Promote best practices and strengthen a culture of compliance and accountability.

Ideal Profile

• 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in internal or external audit;
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management;
• CPA or CIA certification preferred;
• Fluency in English and French (Spanish is an advantage);
• Strong accounting and financial acumen with an analytical mindset;
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills;
• Autonomous, proactive, and culturally open;
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 40% of the time.
