Descrição do Emprego - Helpdesk Technician

Position Summary:


The Helpdesk Technician will be responsible for providing first- and second-line technical support to users, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of IT systems and production infrastructure. Your daily tasks will include hardware and software support, troubleshooting desktop and network issues, supporting printers and peripherals, and assisting with backup, disaster recovery, and IT infrastructure operations.



Responsibilities:



  • Provide technical support to end users (on-site and remote);

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues;

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripherals;

  • Support production and industrial IT infrastructure;

  • Manage user accounts and permissions;

  • Monitor and support backup, disaster recovery, and storage systems;

  • Troubleshoot network-related issues (LAN/WAN);

  • Register, track, and resolve incidents using a ticketing system;

  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support when required;

  • Maintain technical documentation and user guides;

  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.



Profile:



  • Technical background or training in Information Technology;

  • Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software;

  • Proven experience troubleshooting desktop computers

  • Strong knowledge of networks, storage systems, and backup solutions;

  • Familiarity with Office 365 / Microsoft 365 environments;

  • Knowledge of networking assets configuration (routers, switches, firewalls);

  • Basic knowledge of SQL is a plus;

  • Experience providing IT support in an industrial or manufacturing environment is an advantage;

  • Relevant certifications or technical knowledge are preferred.Organizational skills and ability to work independently;

  • Strong problem-solving skills;

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities;

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment;

  • Good organizational and time-management skills;

  • Customer-focused and service-oriented mindset;

  • Passion for industry and technology.
