Incoming Quality Control Technician

Do you want to join Coloplast’s manufacturing site in Felgueiras and play a key role in ensuring the quality of incoming materials used in our manufacturing processes?

Are you motivated by quality, inspections, supplier quality topics, and supporting Operations through effective incoming quality control activities?

We are currently looking for an Incoming Quality Control (IQC) Technician to join our Quality Department in Felgueiras, Portugal.

In this role: You will play a key role in ensuring that materials entering the Felgueiras manufacturing site meet Coloplast quality requirements. Through collaboration with Warehouse, Supplier Quality, and Operations, you will contribute to product quality, process stability, and continuous improvement across the site.

What You will Do:

• Ensure compliance with incoming quality control requirements, specifications, and applicable quality processes.


• Support quality-related topics and challenges associated with raw materials.


• Ensure compliance with the Coloplast Quality Management System.


• Provide guidance and support to Warehouse and Operations regarding material quality related topics.


• Work in close collaboration with Supplier Quality to support incoming quality control activities.


• Support internal and external audits related to incoming quality control processes.


• Support continuous improvement of incoming inspection processes and specifications.


• Promote quality awareness and understanding of material quality requirements across the organization.


• Support coordination of quality-related activities across the site and maintain close cooperation with other Quality functions. 

Your Qualifications:

Academic background: A relevant academic or technical background.

Experience & competencies:

• Experience within Quality, Quality Control, Incoming Inspection, or similar roles in a manufacturing environment.


• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and incoming quality control processes. 


• Knowledge of basic quality tools and inspection methods.


• Experience using basic metrology equipment (e.g. calipers, micrometers, gauges) is considered an advantage.


• Basic written and spoken English.


• Strong communication and collaboration skills, combined with effective planning and prioritization capabilities. 

Timing:

• Expected start is October 2026


• Workplace will be Felgueiras (Portugal).
