Infrastructure Automation Engineer

We are looking for a Database Administrator to join our team and support the administration, implementation, and automation of database infrastructure and services.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation solutions using Ansible, as well as automating operational tasks related to database provisioning, configuration, deployment, patching, monitoring, and overall environment management.

You will administer, maintain, and troubleshoot database management systems while contributing to data replication, synchronization, migration, and high-availability initiatives to ensure reliable and resilient database platforms.

This is a hybrid position, requiring 1–2 days per week at our Lisbon office, with the possibility of traveling to client sites within the Greater Lisbon area when needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the administration, implementation, and automation of database infrastructure and services.
  


• Proven hands-on experience with Ansible, including the development, maintenance, and execution of playbooks.
  


• Solid experience automating database provisioning, configuration, deployment, patching, monitoring, and environment management.
  


• Strong knowledge of database management systems such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or equivalent technologies.
  


• Practical experience in database administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  


• Experience with Oracle GoldenGate is highly valued, particularly for data replication, synchronization, database migration, and high-availability solutions.
  


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  


• Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
