Inside Sales & Merchant Outreach Specialist Global Social Platform

About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Sales Development Specialist to join an international sales operations team supporting a leading global social media and discussion platform. In this role, you will engage directly with potential business clients and digital advertisers, helping them complete registration, understand platform value, and launch successful digital advertising campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive outbound calls and consultation sessions to convert prospective clients into active business advertisers.
• Deliver high-impact pitches, present digital media strategies, and address client objections efficiently.
• Assist key decision-makers (DMs) in finalizing their account onboardings and campaign setups.
• Analyze client digital media planning requirements to offer tailored advertising solutions.
• Maintain active tracking and pipeline updates within internal client management systems.

Requirements

• Language Skills: Native or fluent command of English (C1/C2 level) with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Sales Aptitude: Experience in consultative sales, outbound client prospecting, or business development.
• Digital Marketing Knowledge: Solid understanding of digital media planning, online advertising ecosystems, or campaign strategy.
• Core Skills: Strong objection-handling, active listening, strategic thinking, and negotiation capabilities.
• Work Authorization: EU Passport or existing legal right to work in Portugal.

What We Offer

• Financial Package:
  • Base Salary: €920.00/month.
  • Performance Bonus: Up to €320.00/month variable productivity bonus.
  • Allowances: Monthly holiday/Christmas allowances (€153.34) + €7.00/day tax-exempt meal card allowance (~€154.00/month).
  • Total Estimated Gross Value: ~€1,547.33/month (including performance bonus and allowances).
• Contract Terms: 12-month renewable initial contract, transitioning to permanent after 2 years.

• Onboarding: ~15 working days of comprehensive paid training.
