IT Cost Controller (m/f/d)

• Operational creation and maintenance of Microsoft Power BI dashboards and reports to provide transparent visualization of IT costs and personnel expenses;
• Independent execution of analyses to identify cost-saving potentials and deviations from budget and upper limits;
• Definition, planning, and management of measures to optimize costs and ensure compliance with cost and personnel ceilings;
• Monitoring and reporting of cost developments and effectiveness of implemented measures to stakeholders and management;
• Collaboration with departments, controlling, and IT teams to ensure data quality and implementation of optimization initiatives.

• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Power BI: data modeling, DAX formulas, visualization, and dashboard design;
• Experience in cost and performance accounting, preferably in the IT environment;
• Ability to integrate complex data from various sources and create meaningful analyses;
• Knowledge in identifying cost-saving potentials and deriving measures for cost control;
• Understanding of personnel controlling and budget management;
• Proficient use of MS Excel and possibly other BI tools or databases;
• Analytical thinking and structured approach to problem-solving;
• Independent working style and initiative in identifying and implementing optimization measures;
• Project management skills to steer measures and coordinate with various stakeholders;
• Strong communication skills for presenting results and coordinating with business units;
• High affinity for numbers and attention to detail;
• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset;
• Team player with willingness to cooperate;
• Resilience and flexibility in a dynamic environment;
• Degree in business administration, business informatics, controlling, or comparable qualification;
• Several years of professional experience in controlling, ideally focused on IT costs;
• Proven experience working with Microsoft Power BI.
