IT Operation Engineer

Job Title: IT/Operations Engineer

Contract duration: 6-12 months contract

Portugal Location ONLY,  We are open for remote working in Portugal, and consultants are expected to travel to Coimbra or Castelo Branco offices on need basis.

Experience range: 5 to 7 years.

·       Basic knowledge of Windows system administration.

·       General understanding of infrastructure, including application servers and databases.

·       Familiarity with system integration and integration principles using REST APIs, as well as protocols like MQTT and AMQP.

·       Understanding of data concepts and structures, such as ISA-88 and JSON.

·       Basic programming skills in languages like Node.js, Python, or Java, with a strong desire to develop further.

·       Fundamental networking knowledge.

·       Experience with cloud infrastructure and managed services, particularly with Amazon AWS.

·       Preferably experienced in scripting for IT infrastructure deployment and containerization.

·       Basic understanding of data analytics.

·       Knowledge of ITIL, Agile, and Scrum methodologies at a conceptual level.
