IT Systems & Infrastructure Engineer

We are recruiting an IT Systems & Infrastructure Engineer for a solid and business-critical technology project.

Our client is a Portuguese online gaming brand, where system reliability, infrastructure stability, and security are essential to daily operations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working hands-on with systems and infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance in a regulated and demanding environment.

🔧 Your challenge

You will be part of the IT team, playing a key role in the implementation, management, and evolution of IT systems and infrastructure that support business operations.

On a daily basis, you will:

• Administer Windows Server and Linux Server environments
• Manage Windows and macOS desktop environments
• Administer network infrastructure and network assets
• Manage cloud environments (AWS and GCP) – nice to have
• Manage and maintain containerized environments (Docker / Portainer) – nice to have
• Perform regular system security checks
• Execute technical audits, in collaboration with external auditors
• Identify, track, and resolve technical incidents
• Document technical configurations, procedures, and IT policies
• Register and control system changes and updates
• Prepare technical incident reports in Portuguese and English

The profile we are looking for

• Proven experience in Windows and Linux Systems Administration
• Solid knowledge of networking and IT security
• Experience managing AWS and GCP environments (nice to have)
• Experience with Docker and Portainer (nice to have)
• Strong troubleshooting and technical documentation skills
• Experience in critical and/or regulated environments (nice to have)
• Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles
• Fluent English (spoken and written) – mandatory
• Autonomous, detail-oriented profile with strong technical communication skills
