Right now, we are looking for a IT Warehouse Technician for a
client on our Talent Team.
 
Your responsibilities include:
  • Receive and inspect IT equipment,
    including desktop PCs, laptops, monitors, peripherals, and other IT assets.
  • Check, label, and store materials in
    the warehouse, ensuring proper organization and up -to -date inventory records.
·       Prepare computers for end -user
deployment by:
  • Installing
    and configuring the operating system from a standard image;
  • Installing
    approved standard/corporate software;
  • Performing
    basic device configuration (PC name, network settings, user account,
    etc.).
·       Perform functional testing of
equipment, including:
  • Keyboard,
    touchpad, LCD screen, webcam, speakers, and microphone;
  • USB
    ports, video ports, network connectivity, and power supply.
  • Sort, package, and dispatch
    equipment to different sites and business units.
  • Support equipment return, repair,
    and replacement processes.
  • Update system records (CMDB/IT asset
    inventory) for deployed, returned, or repaired equipment.
  • Work closely with technical support
    teams to identify and escalate faulty equipment.
  • Comply with warehouse safety
    procedures and best practices for handling, storing, and moving equipment.
You must have:
  • Previous experience in warehouse
    and/or logistics roles (preferred);
  • Basic knowledge of IT and PC
    hardware (preferred);
  • Basic understanding of operating
    system and driver installation;
  • Ability to identify simple hardware
    issues (e.g., non -functioning keys, damaged USB ports, screen faults, etc.);
  • Ability to follow equipment testing
    procedures and checklists;
  • Strong organizational skills and
    ability to manage priorities;
  • Accuracy in stock control and
    updating records in relevant tools/systems;
  • Ability to work effectively as part
    of a team in an operational environment;
  • Strong sense of responsibility,
    commitment, and focus on the quality of equipment prepared for end users;
  • Punctuality and reliability are
    highly valued;
  • Excellent customer communication
    skills and good conflict management abilities;
  • Strong commitment and
    accountability;
  • Team -oriented mindset and enjoyment
    of collaborative work;
  • Relevant certifications will be
    considered an advantage (e.g.,     CompTIA A+);
  • Interest in challenges and
    troubleshooting.
