Italian Speaking Content Reviewer

Have a keen eye for social media trends, viral content, and online safety? We are seeking detail-oriented Italian speakers to join our expanding, multicultural team in Lisbon.

In this position, you will protect the integrity of a leading global short-form video platform. You'll play a pivotal role in creating a safer digital space while working in a diverse environment and enjoying Lisbon's sunny weather, rich history, and coastal charm.

Core Duties

Your main focus is to keep the community safe and welcoming by reviewing user uploads against platform rules:

• Content Audit: Examine Italian-language media—such as videos, audio, images, and text—to ensure full alignment with safety standards.
• Policy Enforcement: Act swiftly on posts violating rules regarding cyberbullying, misinformation, hate speech, or copyright infringement.
• Cultural Relevance: Stay attuned to Italian pop culture, current slang, and local trends to accurately evaluate flagged posts.
• Performance Targets: Maintain consistent precision and speed to meet key operational metrics.
• Case Escalation: Forward sensitive, intricate, or borderline files to senior policy experts or leadership.
• Ongoing Training: Attend regular development sessions to stay current on platform updates and policy changes.

Candidate Requirements

Essential Criteria

• Language Proficiency: Fluent command of Italian (C1/C2) and functional English skills (at least B2) for corporate communication, training, and systems.
• Work Location: Full readiness to work on-site at our modern office hub in Lisbon.
• Technical Savvy: Comfortable navigating short-form video tools, social media channels, and standard desktop software.
• Emotional Maturity: The mental composure required to review sensitive material neutrally and professionally.
• Work Right: EU citizenship or pre-existing legal authorization to work in Portugal.

Nice-to-Haves

• Previous background in customer support, content filtering, data processing, or call centers is a plus, but not essential. Full paid training is provided!
