Italian Speaking Content Reviewer

In this role, you will help safeguard a popular, fast-expanding short-form video network. You'll play a key part in protecting online communities while enjoying a collaborative workplace in sunny, coastal Lisbon.

Essential Responsibilities

Your primary goal will be evaluating user uploads to keep the platform secure, respectful, and compliant with company policies:

• Content Reviewing: Check Italian-language posts—including text, audio, images, and videos—to ensure they comply with community rules.
• Rule Enforcement: Promptly address content violations, including harassment, hate speech, copyright issues, and fake news.
• Cultural Context: Keep up with Italian pop culture, local idioms, and viral trends to properly interpret reported content.
• Meeting Targets: Maintain high levels of accuracy and speed to hit key operational goals.
• Handling Complex Cases: Escalate tricky, high-priority, or ambiguous posts to senior policy managers.
• Continuous Growth: Join regular training sessions to adapt to revised policies and updated moderation tools.

What We Are Looking For

Basic Criteria

• Language Fluency: Fluent level of Italian (C1/C2) paired with functional English (B2 or higher) for internal communications, systems, and onboarding.
• Work Location: Ready to work full-time on-site at our Lisbon office.
• Tech Skills: Comfortable using popular social apps, short-video platforms, and basic workplace software.
• Resilience: The mental maturity needed to review sensitive or controversial material with neutrality.
• Work Eligibility: Valid EU passport or active legal authorization to work in Portugal.

Pluses

• Prior experience in moderation, call centers, localization, or customer care is a bonus, but not required. We provide complete paid onboarding!
