Italian Speaking Content Reviewer

Primary Duties

Your main focus is ensuring the platform remains safe, welcoming, and compliant with community rules by assessing user uploads:

• Media Moderation: Assess, screen, and manage Italian-language content—including text, images, video clips, and audio tracks—to verify compliance with community standards.
• Policy Application: Address policy breaches promptly, taking action against cyberbullying, hate speech, false information, and copyright infringement.
• Cultural Awareness: Maintain a strong understanding of current Italian cultural context, regional expressions, and trending memes to accurately review flagged content.
• Target Achievement: Consistently hit accuracy and productivity goals to fulfill team performance standards.
• Issue Escalation: Route complex, sensitive, or unclear cases to senior policy officers or managers for further review.
• Skill Development: Participate in ongoing training workshops to stay up-to-date on platform software updates and evolving guidelines.

Candidate Profile

Essential Requirements

• Language Abilities: Fluent command of Italian (C1/C2 level) plus effective English skills (minimum B2) for software navigation, workplace communication, and training.
• On-Site Requirement: Willingness to work full-time at our modern office location in Lisbon, Portugal.
• Digital Savvy: Strong familiarity with popular social platforms, short-form video apps, and routine computer tools.
• Mental Fortitude: The professional composure and balance required to evaluate sensitive online media objectively.
• Legal Right to Work: Possession of an EU passport or existing authorization to work in Portugal.

Desirable Skills

• Background in customer service, content moderation, call centers, or translation is helpful, though not required. We offer full, paid onboarding and training!
