Primary Responsibilities & Key Duties

Your central mission is to preserve a positive, secure, and respectful online environment by systematically reviewing, auditing, and moderating user-generated submissions against strict platform policies and legal benchmarks:

• Multimedia Content Review: Thoroughly monitor, evaluate, and filter Italian-language uploads—encompassing video streams, audio tracks, written captions, and images—to ensure complete compliance with established safety protocols and community guidelines.
• Policy & Safety Enforcement: Take swift, decisive action against content that breaches network rules, actively mitigating issues such as cyberbullying, harassment, hate speech, dangerous misinformation, extremist content, and intellectual property violations.
• Cultural Contextualization: Maintain an up-to-date, nuanced understanding of evolving Italian cultural trends, regional dialects, popular internet memes, and current slang to make accurate, context-aware decisions on flagged posts.
• Performance Excellence: Consistently maintain high levels of moderation accuracy, attention to detail, and daily operational efficiency to satisfy individual and team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• High-Level Escalations: Identify and route complex, sensitive, high-risk, or ambiguous cases up to senior policy advisors, legal teams, or executive management whenever advanced consultation is required.
• Continuous Professional Development: Actively participate in mandatory ongoing training programs, policy calibration workshops, and tool update briefings to remain fully aligned with evolving moderation standards and software upgrades.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Minimum Qualifications

• Language Proficiency: Fluent or bilingual mastery of the Italian language (C1/C2 capability), accompanied by a strong operational proficiency in English (minimum B2 level) to successfully complete corporate onboarding, internal team communications, and software platform navigation.
• Workplace Presence: Total willingness and capability to work full-time directly out of our modern, state-of-the-art office hub located in Lisbon, Portugal.
• Digital Literacy: A natural familiarity with modern social media ecosystems, short-form video streaming platforms, and standard office technology tools.
• Emotional Resilience & Maturity: The professional composure, objectivity, and mental stamina needed to view and evaluate challenging, explicit, or sensitive digital media in a neutral and balanced manner.
• Work Authorization: Possession of a valid EU passport, legal citizenship, or existing legal work authorization to work legally within Portugal.

Preferred Experience
