Lead Cloud Architect (m/w/d)

Technical Expertise:

• Develop robust cloud architecture frameworks and strategic cloud migration plans
• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud environments for diverse applications and data
• Evaluate business requirements and translate them into technical solutions on platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Provide expert guidance on cloud-native architectures and cloud-based solutions like serverless computing, microservices, and containerization
• Utilize infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform to automate cloud resource provisioning
• Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE)

Leadership & Management:

• Build up and lead a dynamic team of cloud, data and software engineers, fostering an environment of collaboration and high performance in Portugal within the next two years
• Allocate resources efficiently across various projects to ensure timely delivery and superior support in coordination with German colleagues

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure
• Proficient in managing and supporting deployments to cloud environments across various cloud service providers
• Experience with monitoring and logging systems, such as ElasticSearch, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Competence with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Ansible and Terraform
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities to navigate complex technical challenges
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
