Lead Consultant for SAP MDG Material Master (f/m/d)

The MDG (Master Data Governance) IT team is responsible for building the global master data system for material, financial and business partner master data within Siemens Healthineers. We focus on diversity and are now expanding our internationally operating MDG team with the location in Germany and India with the location in Portugal. Our main goal is the improvement of our business-critical master data information with the creation of a central system for Master Data Management and Governance for our company. Your tasks and responsibilities:

• You will be overall responsible for the setup and further development of our Healthineers SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) system in the area of material and will be the main contact person for our business lines and country representatives
• Your focus will be the management of major changes and major projects in the area of material master 
• You will advance our business in defining and prioritizing new requirements and define the future master data process & architecture in the area of material master data 
• You will be responsible for the continuous development of our SAP MDG application around Material, both in daily operations and in project mode 
• You work with our service providers on joint, business-oriented solutions for master data maintenance and control them accordingly 
• You define the interfaces of the SAP MDG application to connected external and internal processes 
• You take end-to-end responsibility for individual work packages and lead their design, implementation and rollout in project mode 
• You independently identify improvement potentials and work out a budgeting and implementation plan for them 
• You will support the System/ Application Owner in close collaboration in the coordination and processing of various system-related topics (e.g. compliance, security, reliability etc.) together with Technical Application Management Team
• You will be nominated as proxy for the MDG System/ Application owner  

Your qualifications and experience:

• You have a successfully completed university degree in computer science, business informatics or related fields 
• Thanks to many years of professional experience around master data management, you are used to reacting flexibly to situations and tackling several issues at the same time 
• You convince with sound knowledge in SAP MDG 
• You have strong experience in project management and in the preparation and implementation of cut over activities 
• You have very good knowledge and experience in the areas of SCM, PLM or R&D in the area of material master data 
• You have very good knowledge around SAP MDG on S/4 HANA 
• Knowledge about Data Quality Management solutions are an additional plus 

Your attributes and skills:

• You have very good understanding of interface technologies, advanced SAP technologies (e.g. BRF+), system integration aspects and ABAP Knowledge.  
• With your very good technical understanding, as well as the ability to analyze process flows within a business unit, you are the best possible support for our internal and external partners 
• You can take the perspective of IT, implement its strategic roadmap and at the same time have an open mind for the overall structure of Siemens Healthineers 
• You communicate easily with our international team in English, German language skills are an additional plus 
• International business trips (approx. 10%) are a welcome change for you
