We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager with expertise in Power Generation and LM6000, LM2500, and TM2500 gas turbine technologies to join our power plant operations team. This key leadership role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and performance of all maintenance activities at the plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Location: This job is located on-site at a customer location.


Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs.

  • Oversee the maintenance of power generation equipment, including LM6000, LM2500, and TM2500 turbines.

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve equipment failures to minimize downtime.

  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and manufacturer guidelines.

  • Drive quality, reliability, and efficiency improvements across maintenance operations.

  • Meet and exceed contractual performance targets while avoiding penalties.

  • Ensure plant availability, reliability, and efficiency.

  • Work closely with operations teams to improve plant performance and customer satisfaction.

  • Manage inventory levels to prevent operational disruptions.

  • Establish minimum stocking levels for critical spare parts based on usage history.

  • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of supplies.

  • Oversee customs clearance and receiving processes for imported equipment.

  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on maintenance activities and performance.

  • Maintain records for audits and compliance reviews.

  • Implement cost-control measures while optimizing maintenance budgets.

  • Lead and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies.

  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with national and corporate safety regulations.

  • Foster a strong safety culture among employees and contractors.

Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Business degrees will be considered).

  • Advanced degrees in Engineering or Business, and relevant engineering licenses.

  • Minimum of 5 years in power plant management.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with GE TM2500+ Gen8 gas turbine technology.

  • Proven experience in managing LM6000, LM2500, and TM2500 gas turbines.

  • Preferred experience managing large-scale power generation operations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).

  • Fluency in English (speaking, writing, reading); additional languages are a plus.

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14000, and OHSAS 18001 is advantageous.

  • Willingness to relocate and travel within the project country and region.

  • General understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulation.
