Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced mental health nurse to join the Prevention and Management of Occupational Violence and Aggression (PAMOVA) training team.
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our six main campuses:
Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals Centres and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.
About the Role:
The Prevention and Management of OVA Training Coordinator is a senior mental health nursing position at Northern Health.
The role is well supported by an established leadership team providing a great opportunity to gain senior mental health nursing experience coordinating a key organisation program.
The role includes the oversight and delivery of an established training program as well as assessing training outcomes and participating in an ongoing evaluation process.
The position works closely with the Northern Health acute and sub - acute setting PAMOVA coordinator.
The Prevention and Management of OVA Coordinator role will also contribute to the strategic direction for the ongoing development of the program including the training model and project aims, as well as creating and providing reports to relevant committees.
