Mgr E2E Cloud Data Core Design

The E2E Cloud Data Core Design Manager acts as E2E Technical Manager in complex Network Evolutions Programs, managing the Data Core solutions design in a consistent, efficient and harmonised way across Europe. In her/his position as E2E Cloud Data Core Design Manager is expected to be accountable for the overall solution design, in collaboration with other design functions inside Data Core Engineering, as well as Network Strategy and Architecture, other Vertical Engineering domains with focus on Core and Services and also with Cloud Engineering and Data Centers Connectivity teams and with vendors. She/He ensures that the architectural guidelines are well understood and implemented by the Data Core vendors portfolio. The role will involve core responsibilities around demand sizing, capacity planning, business case preparation, defining quality goals & maintaining of end-to-end service delivery of design & development. The role acts as main Data Core entry point towards Security and Partner Markets, to provide support from Data Core Engineering, coordinating other design functions as required. It also plays a key role to influence and drive vendors solutions to increase better performance and efficiency rates. Being the main change agent for the One Tech Team mindset in Data Core, she/he must have strong soft skills, including high level of oral and written communication skills, customer focus, teamwork and strong collaboration, integrity, and relationship-building skills. Essential to have a proven track record of having successfully acted in an internationally/globally distributed team set up, ideally in Europe. Degree or higher degree in Engineering or related technical discipline Overall 15+ years of Network Engineering/Operation experience with Core and Services as core skill Familiarity with Network Vendors portfolio and the ability to work in a multi-vendor complex environment Cloud Infrastructure Knowledge: Ability to effectively participate in discussions related to cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and optimization within the overall network architecture Team Management: Ability to manage, develop and motivate a multinational team of senior Solution Authorities Process Knowledge with regards to Change, Problem, Release & Risk management Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Capable of conveying complex technical information clearly and effectively to various stakeholders Challenger mindset and be able to foster innovation and drive the team to think outside the box
