Monitor / Cleaning - Boarding

ROLE SUMMARY:

King’s College School, Cascais is a flagship campus of the Inspired Education Group, situated on a state-of-the-art 40,000m² site in the exclusive Picheleira area. Working within the King’s Cascais Boarding department means being part of a high-performance team dedicated to educational excellence and holistic student development. Whether in a pastoral role (Monitor) or operational role (Cleaning/Housekeeping), you are essential to maintaining the school’s reputation for providing a safe, elite, and nurturing environment. You will support the day-to-day lives of students, ensuring they live in a clean, organized, and supportive atmosphere that reflects the high standards of a top-tier international boarding school.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cleaning: Daily cleaning of student bedrooms, bathrooms, and common rooms (lounges, kitchens).


• Laundry Services: Managing the washing, drying, and distribution of students’ bedding, towels, and personal clothing.


• Maintenance Reporting: Identifying and reporting any repairs or health and safety hazards to the House Manager.


• Safeguarding Awareness: Following strict safeguarding and child protection guidelines while working in student living areas.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Experience: Previous experience in professional cleaning or hospitality is valued.


• Personal Qualities: Punctual, discrete, and able to interact politely with young people from diverse cultures.


• Skills: Knowledge of safe chemical use and basic Health & Safety practices.
