Right now, we are seeking a skilled Platform Automation Engineer with a strong background in cloud platform technologies and automation tools. The successful candidate will contribute to designing and developing our cloud platform, focusing on automation to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance. A solid foundation in Terraform, Kubernetes, cloud -native technologies, and general infrastructure automation is essential, with extended experience in complex Terraform patterns.

Your responsibilities
include:

• Design and Development: Contribute to architecting and developing cloud platform solutions that meet business requirements, with an emphasis on automation tools, in particular Terraform and Crossplanev2.
  
• Infrastructure Patterns: Assist in the deployment, management, and monitoring of cloud infrastructure, ensuring correct usage patterns, including regulatory compliance, high availability, and disaster recovery capabilities.
  
• Automation: Implement and optimize automation tools and frameworks such as Crossplane and Terraform, with a focus on complex Terraform patterns for advanced infrastructure provisioning.
  
• Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate and optimize cloud solutions.
  
• Platform Observability: Support the implementation of observability patterns throughout the platform, including anomaly detection and automated remediation.
  
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and suggest improvements.
  
• Documentation: Maintain documentation of architecture, processes, and procedures.
  
• Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior engineers and learn from senior team members.
  

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in platform engineering and 3 years in the underlying technologies, with a focus on cloud technologies and automation tools.
  
• Strong proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  
• Experience with infrastructure -as -code tools such as Crossplane and Terraform, including complex patterns like modules, workspaces, and state management.
  
• Experience with GitOps patterns.
  
• Proficient in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub.
