Function Description / Professional Tasks

As a Power BI Junior, you support our team in the development, further enhancement, and operation of Power BI reports and dashboards. You work closely with experienced Power BI experts, business departments, and IT colleagues, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a professional BI environment. With your support, we continue to advance data-driven decision-making.

What you can do
− Support in the development, maintenance, and optimization of Power BI reports and dashboards
− Handling support tickets and user requests in the Power BI environment, ensuring efficient resolution of support inquiries
− Participation in data modeling and the structured preparation of data for reporting purposes
− Transformation and cleansing of data using Power Query (e.g. filtering, joins, aggregations)
− Creation and maintenance of simple DAX measures and calculations
− Support with ETL-related tasks along the data flow from source to report
− Implementation of reports according to Power BI best practices (structure, performance, clarity)
− Documentation of reports, data models, and logic
− Active collaboration within the team and participation in knowledge sharing
− Promotion of knowledge exchange within the team

Personal Skills and Education

What you bring
− Basic understanding of the Power BI platform, particularly report and dashboard creation, simple data models, and basic DAX calculations
− Experience with Power Query for data preparation and transformation
− Basic ETL knowledge and an understanding of data flows
− Initial exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or other BI tools is an advantage
− BI-related certifications (e.g. Microsoft Power BI) are an advantage but not required
− A structured, diligent, and eager-to-learn working style
− Team spirit and an interest in data and reporting topics

Education
− University/technical college degree in computer science or comparable.

Language Skills
− English oral and written
− Optional: German oral (and written)

Additional Comments

− Willingness to travel
− Hybrid Model: One day a week @office (mandatory)
