THE ROLE

As Indie Campers' Predictive Modeling Specialist you will be in charge of creating and developing predictive models and algorithms to assist decision making, anticipate issues and detect opportunities.

You will report directly to the Own Fleet Director and work very closely with our Data, Product, Ecommerce, Pricing, Stock, Finance, and Marketing teams from our Lisbon, Portugal HQ.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

You'll be responsible for creating and developing key capabilities that will make Indie Campers increasingly more data-driven.

The right candidate will:

• Lead the creation and development of predictive models and algorithms.


• Support forecasting and budgeting efforts with advanced analysis


• Develop an E2E process of Models & Algorithms creation for Indie Campers.


• Work constantly with model's end users to continously optimize them, making them increasingly more complete.


• Oversee and detect which departments and areas could benefit more from the application of these tools in their activities.


• Develop analysis tools to control and measure the impact of the predictive models and algorithms usage.


• Together with Data, collect data, cleaning it, organising it, and search for customers behaviour patterns and what influences it. 


• Firslty focus on developing these capabilities for the Revenue department to then expand it company wide.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You are fluent in English, spoken and written, with a Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or Physics. You have minimum 4 years of professional experience, and previous involvement in algorithms and models creation or development.

Experience in working with large Datasets (SQL) and different data sources. Experience in using Python for scripting, data management and writing algorithms.

You'll lead the creation of tools and mechanism capable to automate decision making and improve our capability to react faster and plan ahead.
