This role
is built on a technical foundation. We are looking for someone who comes from a
hands-on background — data engineering, AI/ML, platform or solution
architecture — and who now wants to move closer to the client without losing
that technical edge.

Your day
will be spent understanding what clients actually need, designing the right
solution with the support of our specialist teams, and explaining that solution
clearly to everyone in the room, from engineers to executive sponsors. Backed
by strategic partnerships with industry leaders and a strong portfolio of public
success cases, you will turn complex challenges into effective technical
solutions and business proposals.

Your
responsibilities:

We work
across both Data and AI, and need technical depth in both areas. You do not
need to be an expert in both: we welcome candidates coming from either a Data
or AI background, while valuing the curiosity and willingness to build
familiarity across the wider Data & AI landscape.

• Engaging
  directly with clients to understand their business context, technical
  landscape, and real objectives.
  
• Leading
  discovery sessions to gather, challenge, and qualify business and technical
  requirements.
  
• Designing
  and architecting end-to-end Data & AI solutions, working both autonomously
  and in collaboration with our specialist and delivery teams to validate
  feasibility, effort, and risk.
  
• Translating
  those architectures into clear proposals, estimates, and roadmaps that clients
  can understand and act upon.
  
• Presenting
  and defending the value of your solutions to diverse stakeholders, both
  technical and managerial.
  
• Leading
  and supporting Proofs of Concept (PoCs), from design through to demonstration.
  
• Staying
  hands-on and at the forefront of Data & AI trends, ensuring our solutions
  are always relevant, competitive, and technically sound.

have:

We are
looking for an engineer at heart who wants to sit closer to the client. To
succeed in this role, you should have:

• A
  Genuinely Technical Background: Real, hands-on experience in the Data or AI space (for
  example: data engineering, cloud and GPU infrastructure, MLOps, software or
  solution architecture) that allows you to design credible solutions and lead
  technical discussions with confidence.
  
• Solution
  Design Capability: The ability to take an ambiguous problem and shape it into a coherent
  architecture, covering data platforms, pipelines, ML and Generative AI
  workloads, integration, security, and cost.
  
• A
  Client-Facing Ambition: A clear desire to spend your time with clients — listening, questioning, and
  presenting complex ideas simply to both technical and managerial audiences.
  
• Strong
  Business Acumen: The ability to connect technical decisions to tangible, measurable business
  outcomes such as cost, time-to-market, and risk.
  
• A
  Proactive & Collaborative Mindset: Knowing when to design alone and
  when to bring in the team, with a strong desire to learn, innovate, and drive
  continuous improvement within a team-first environment.
  
• A
  Genuinely Technical Background: Real, hands-on experience in either the Data or AI space
  (for example: data engineering, data platforms, ML/AI engineering, cloud or
  solution architecture) that allows you to design credible solutions and lead
  technical discussions with confidence.
  

These are
not mandatory requirements, but they will certainly set you apart:

• NVIDIA: hands-on experience with GPU
  infrastructure, NVIDIA AI Enterprise, NIM, or inference optimisation.
  
• Microsoft
  Azure and Google Cloud Platform: experience designing and certifications on either
  platform.
  
• Generative
  AI in production: RAG, agentic systems, model serving, evaluation, and
  governance.
  
• Experience
  with modern data platforms, data pipelines, and Data Governance.
  
• A
  track record in a client-facing technical role (Pre-Sales, Solution
  Architecture, or Consultancy).
  
• The
  drive to contribute to the strategic design of our service offerings, and to
  build and maintain relationships with key technology partners.
