ROLE SUMMARY:

As the Primary Administrative Support at PaRK International School (Alfragide), you serve as the vital link between the school, its families, and the staff. Operating within a fast-paced, multicultural campus—part of the global Inspired Education Group—you provide high-level administrative support to ensure the smooth daily running of the Primary School.

 

This role requires a proactive professional who can balance technical tasks, like managing student data systems, with the "soft skills" needed to welcome a diverse community of over 50 nationalities. Your goal is to uphold the school’s reputation for excellence through efficient communication and organized operational support in both English and Portuguese.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Front Desk & Communication: Serve as the first point of contact for families and visitors. Manage inbound calls and emails, ensuring information is delivered to the relevant parties in a timely manner.

  • Student Records & Attendance: Maintain accurate daily school registers and update student databases (such as iSAMS).

  • Logistics & Events: Coordinate the organization of school outings, including booking transportation and managing required documentation. Assist in scheduling meetings and school-wide events.

  • Admissions Support: Work closely with the Admissions Office and Assistant Principals to schedule interviews and support the enrollment process for new applicants.

  • General Admin: Manage school supplies and stationery orders, oversee the Primary budget, and provide translation services (English/Portuguese) for school correspondence

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:


  • Language Skills: Full professional proficiency in both English and Portuguese (written and spoken).

  • Experience: Previous administrative experience, ideally within an international or educational environment.

  • Tech Savvy: Strong skills in Microsoft Office and experience with School Management Information Systems (MIS) like iSAMS.

  • Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational ability, a proactive "can-do" attitude, and the discretion required to handle sensitive information.
