The role provides strategic and operational leadership for Android TV\u2013based solutions, ensuring high\u2011quality, scalable, and cost\u2011effective products aligned with business, technology, and customer\u2011experience objectives.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\n * Own and manage the full STB hardware portfolio lifecycle, including roadmap definition, vendor selection, certification, launch, and end-of-life management;\n * Own and govern the accompanying STB system software stack, with a strong focus on Android TV platforms;\n * Define and execute the long-term STB technology strategy in alignment with product, architecture, and commercial goals;\n * Lead and develop distributed, multi-location engineering and development teams;\n * Ensure predictable delivery through Agile Release Trains (ARTs) within a SAFe framework;\n * Act as senior escalation point for delivery, quality, and vendor performance issues;\n * Lead cross-functional teams across hardware engineering, procurement, and external partners;\n * Drive Android TV platform evolution, certification, and compliance;\n * Oversee Linux-based components and environments where applicable;\n * Manage strategic supplier and chipset partner relationships in collaboration with Procurement;\n * Collaborate closely with Product Management to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps;\n * Ensure alignment with system architecture, security, and compliance standards.\n\n\n\n## Who you are\n\n * Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience;\n * Extensive experience in STB or embedded consumer device development;\n * Strong hands-on and strategic experience with Android TV (mandatory);\n * Solid understanding of Linux-based systems (advantage);\n * Proven experience managing multi-site engineering teams;\n * Strong background in Agile delivery, preferably within SAFe and ART structures;\n * Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder landscapes across technology, procurement, and product;\n * Experience working with external vendors, ODMs, and chipset suppliers;\n * SAFe or Agile leadership certifications are desirable;\n * Fluency in English.\n\n\n\n## Not a perfect fit?\n\nWorried that you don\u2019t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
