Job Description

In this role, you will ensure that the organisation follows regulations related to product manufacturing, quality, packaging, labelling and marketing the products in the countries of company presence. A successful candidate has to effectively and pragmatically navigate complex product regulations to ensure the company is meeting all standards regarding new and existing products. They are expected to identify gaps in compliance procedures, processes and tools, and develop strategies to address gaps effectively.

You will collaborate with AUTODOC Group’s network of suppliers, i.e. distributors and manufacturers, industry experts, legal and other compliance officers - and AUTODOC’s leadership team to ensure uniform compliance procedures regarding product quality, safety, and classification are followed across the entire organisation. Moreover, will build processes and lead various cross functional initiatives related to product compliance

Responsibilities:
Leading & building up a team

• Review new and existing products to ensure they meet quality and safety regulations

• Research safety and regulatory compliance concerns regarding new products or the expansion of existing ones, and communicate the findings to the production and management teams

• Partake in risk assessments to identify compliance risks 

• Stay abreast of laws related to e-commerce retailers to ensure compliance and minimize risks in case of any changes in regulations

• Maintain uniform labeling, packaging, and classification of products to ensure potential safety compliance

• Maintain records of product safety and quality information

• Develop processes and suggest techniques to improve product compliance even more. 

• Develop and maintain production process flow records and instructions to aid with the onboarding of new employees

• Assist various departments by sharing information regarding product regulation and compliance

Reqirements:

• Proven work experience in this or a similar role, in the automotive industry preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a closely related field

• Working knowledge of SQL for maintaining product compliance records, such as packaging and labelling requirements

• Expertise in product compliance software 

• Knowledge in particular concerning REACH, CLP, Biocide Regulation, Chemicals Regulation, CE, ECE, RoHS, and Product Safety Regulation.   

• Project management skills

• Working knowledge of data analytics tools 

• Proficiency in using data visualisation tools, such as Power Bi

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
