We are looking for a full-time, permanent Product Designer (all genders) to join our growing team remotely in Portugal.

Are you ready to define the entire user experience of our Digital Compliance Office (DCO) platform?

As our foundational designer, your mission is to elevate the DCO into a world-class product that is not only powerful but also intuitive and delightful to use. You will own the end-to-end design process, acting as a strategic partner who synthesizes requirements from multiple sources. While the product team defines the core user problems and business goals, you will validate your design solutions with user data, ensuring your creative vision is both effective and impactful. You will collaborate closely with engineering to ensure technical feasibility, transforming complex requirements into elegant, buildable solutions.

Your first major focus will be to lead the "DCO 3.0" initiative, collaborating closely with our Product Manager and Frontend Developer to completely refresh and streamline the user experience. You will establish our design system, champion a user-centered culture, and have the autonomy to introduce the modern, AI-aided tools and processes you see fit to build a truly great product.

Key Outcomes

Success in this role means achieving the following outcomes:

• Within 3 months, you will have conducted a full audit of the existing DCO platform, identified key areas for UX improvement, and presented a clear vision and strategy for the DCO 3.0 redesign. You will have established initial user flows and wireframes for critical journeys.
• Within 6 months, you will have developed and implemented V1 of our new Design System in Miro, Figma or your tool of choice. You will be working in lockstep with the Frontend Developer, shipping the first redesigned components and features, and validating your design decisions with user analytics.
• Within 12 months, you will have established a mature, scalable design process for the entire product team. The DCO 3.0 vision will be largely implemented, resulting in measurable improvements in user satisfaction and task completion rates. You will be the go-to expert for all things design and user experience at SECJUR.

Requirements

Your profile

• You are a senior Product Designer with proven experience designing complex, data-rich B2B SaaS applications.
• Your portfolio clearly demonstrates your expertise across the full design stack: from user research and wireframing to high-fidelity UI design and prototyping.
• You are an expert with modern design tools like Figma and Miro, and you have a passion for exploring and integrating new tools, especially those enhanced by AI.
• You have experience creating and maintaining a scalable Design System from the ground up.
• You possess a deep sense of "technical empathy," understanding the fundamentals of frontend development and how to design solutions that are not only beautiful but also feasible to build.
• You are a strategic thinker who can translate user needs and business goals into simple, elegant design solutions.
• You are a strong communicator, fluent in English, and excel at presenting and justifying your design decisions to a cross-functional team.
• You are a strategic thinker. You translate user needs and business goals into elegant solutions and are comfortable using analytics and user feedback (from tools like Sentry or PostHog) to measure the effectiveness of your designs and guide your iterations.
