WHAT IS AFTERSALES?

In our Aftersales Unit, we create seamless customer experiences in Web, App, eCommerce and high context domains across the three core business segments Service, Accident and Parts Trading.

With products such as Online Appointment Booking and Mobile Apps like the Mercedes me Service App, we merge technology innovations with customer requirements in easy-to-use products that our customers love.

As part of Aftersales, you will work in a trust-based teamwork model within the global Aftersales family, where you are empowered to take ownership and deliver value for the product success.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

• Be the Product Owner and key stakeholder contact for one product

• Work closely with an agile team across all sprint ceremonies and deliveries

• Take end-to-end responsibility for product improvements within your team's mission

• Work cross-functionally with consultants, designers, and engineers to enhance UX and build new features for millions of users

• Build a deep understanding of customer needs, pain points and behaviors.

• Use data and user feedback to drive informed product decisions.

• Align on goals and KPIs, and deliver the roadmap through a prioritized backlog.

• Break down complex challenges into clear objectives and actionable plans.

• Use AI tools critically, understanding their strengths and limitations to support decisions.

TO SUCCEED YOU NEED

• Strong sense of accountability and ownership

• A self-sufficient working style with strong analytical skills to prioritize product development and ensure transparent trade-offs in decision-making.

• Ability to work independently in a result-oriented way

• Experience working with digital products and technical teams

• To motivate and inspire a cross-functional team in incremental and validated growth

• Be AI-literate: know when to trust, challenge and ignore AI

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
