Product Quality Associate (Abóboda Factory)

Job Description Summary

Lead initiatives to ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards, including small-scale improvement projects and minor process enhancements.

As a Product Quality your role will be to:

Key Responsibilities:

• Supplier Qualification: Lead the qualification process for new suppliers, including quality system assessments, capability studies, and approval workflows.
• Supplier Audits: Plan, conduct, and report on-site and remote audits (process, system, product) per ISO 9001 (preferential).
• Non-Conformance Management: Manage incoming NCRs, drive 8D or A3 / root cause analysis.
• Claims & Evidence Management: Evaluate supplier responsibility in quality disputes, consolidate inspection records, test reports, and shipping documentation to support or defend claims.
• Supplier Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs, conduct regular performance reviews.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain quality risks, maintain a supplier risk register.
• Continuous Improvement: Deploy lean and quality improvement tools (FMEA, Six Sigma) across the supplier base.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Procurement, Engineering, Production and Operations to embed quality requirements from design through delivery.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain supplier quality records in ERP/QMS, ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements and regulations.

About the ideal candidate:

• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality or a related function.
• Solid knowledge of ISO 9001 (preferential).
• Proven experience conducting 2nd-party supplier audits, Lead Auditor certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in: 8D, A3, FMEA, Control Plans.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and QMS platforms.
• Strong analytical skills, ability to translate inspection and test data into actionable conclusions.
• Fluency in English (written).
