Purchasing Engineer - Heat Pumps (f/m/div.)

Your contribution to something big:

• Leading technical purchasing activities for new parts and components;
• Driving the purchasing Time-To-Market (TTM) process in heat pump development projects;
• Conducting and leading technical discussions with suppliers and engineering teams;
• Organizing and performing supplier visits;
• Monitoring and reporting on purchasing project achievements and progress;
• Initiating, coordinating and advancing preventative quality;
• Focus on target costing by identifying cost improvement opportunities with suppliers and engineers, supporting cost estimation and tracking;
• Preparing supplier awarding for new parts, ensuring alignment with project schedules in respect to part deliveries;
• Participating in innovation feasibility projects.

What distinguishes you: 

Education:

• Academic background in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering (Additional commercial/business qualifications are valued).

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing or engineering roles, preferably within commercial and project purchasing areas;
• Experience or knowledge in heat pump technology is a plus.

Languages:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Structured and analytical approach to work with strong problem-solving skills;
• Proactive, results-driven, and able to take ownership of projects;  
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership abilities;
• Comfortable working in cross-functional and international teams;
• Willingness to travel.
