RedHat OpenShift Platform Engineer

We are currently looking for RedHat OpenShift Platform Engineer

Requirements:

 We are seeking an experienced RedHat OpenShift Platform Engineer to manage and maintain our OpenShift platform and associated tools. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation, infrastructure management, and CI/CD pipelines. This is a subcontract position, with occasional travel required to Strasbourg. Candidates must be EU citizens and hold a valid Portuguese Citizen Card.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage OpenShift & Kubernetes: Install, configure, and maintain RedHat OpenShift clusters.
• Automation: Use Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and manage pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
• Service Mesh: Manage Istio for microservices traffic control.
• VMware: Support and maintain VMware environments.
• Monitoring: Use Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and alerting.

Required Skills:
• OpenShift/Kubernetes experience.
• Proficient with Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, Jenkins, ArgoCD.
• Basic networking and Java understanding. • Familiarity with VMware, Prometheus, Grafana, Kafka, Istio, and Helm. Other important points:
• EU citizen with a valid Portuguese Citizen Card
• Work in hibrid model in Lisbon Office.
• Willingness to travel punctually to Strasbourg. Preferred: • RedHat certifications (RHCE/RHCA) are a plus.
