Finance Operations Associate

As a Finance Operations Associate, you are responsible for the oversight and management of several Finance activities, ensuring the execution of day to day financial operations at MoonLake.

Key accountabilities:

• Conduct a variety of finance operations including payment reconciliation and accounts payable, ensuring transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved; manage payroll operations to guarantee precise and punctual employee compensation; and oversee expenses management to monitor and control corporate spending efficiently.
• Conduct thorough financial controls testing to maintain the integrity and reliability of financial data.
• Develop and optimise financial processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Support the finance department with the creation of detailed reports, presentations, and other documentation as needed.
• Provide regular updates and communicate progress on financial activities to the Director of Finance.
  
  

Education: Bachelor or master's degree in management, economics, finance or accounting

Skills/knowledge/behavioural competencies:

• Excellent oral and written English communication skills
• Highly organised, able to prioritise work, perform well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Independent, self-starter with a proactive, problem solving approach
• Ability to work in a flexible, collaborative style with colleagues and teams within the company and with external advisors including consultants.

• 2 days a week in our brand new Porto Office
