Russian Speaking Translator

Are you a fluent Russian speaker with strong English skills and a passion for communication? We're looking for a dedicated Remote Russian-Speaking Translator to join our team in Portugal. This is a full-time, remote position, but you must reside in Portugal to be considered. You will play a vital role in bridging communication gaps, helping people connect across language barriers.

Your Responsibilities

You will be part of a team providing on-demand language services for a leading global language solutions company. Your main mission is to translate and interpret conversations in a variety of industries, including healthcare, finance, and legal services. We provide comprehensive, paid training to ensure your success, so prior experience is not required.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Remote Interpretation: You will answer incoming calls and provide high-quality, real-time interpretation between Russian and English.
• Maintain Accuracy and Confidentiality: You will accurately convey information while strictly adhering to confidentiality protocols.
• Manage Calls: You will professionally manage the flow of conversations, ensuring smooth and effective communication for all parties.
• Quality Assurance: You will maintain the highest standards of quality in your translations, taking care to use appropriate terminology.

What We're Looking For

• Fluent Russian: You must have native-level or C2 proficiency in Russian (written and spoken) to ensure precise and clear translations.
• Advanced English: You need at least a C1 level of English to handle complex conversations and communicate with clients effectively.
• Strong Communication Skills: You should be an excellent listener with a clear and professional speaking voice.
• Adaptability: The ability to think quickly and adapt your translation style to different situations and industries is essential.
• Resilience: You should be able to handle sensitive and challenging conversations with professionalism and empathy.
• Tech Savvy: You will be supplied with all the necessary equipment, but you must have a reliable, high-speed internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace to perform your duties remotely.
