Position: Senior Business Travel Consultant

Location: remote, Portugal or hybrid, Lisbon (candidate's discretion)

Employment type: Full-time

Remuneration: Base salary.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide high-quality support to customers through various channels, including chat, calls, and emails.
• Keep up-to-date with relevant information on service providers, destinations, and systems.
• Assess customer needs, urgency, and preferences quickly and effectively.
• Handle bookings for accommodations, transportation, and travel services accurately.
• Assist customers with self-service options on the platform or app.
• Respond in a timely manner, adhering to service level agreements (SLAs).
• Ensure compliance with company and customer policies, maintaining global standards.
• Provide feedback to stakeholders on progress towards goals and key processes.
• Participate in team discussions regarding products, service providers, and industry trends.
• Stay informed about industry best practices and trends.
• Maintain regular attendance, complete required training, and meet performance expectations.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Native/fluent in English (C1), both oral and written.
• 5+ years in a travel consultant role, with expertise in bookings for air, rail, and accommodations
• 3+ years of experience using GDS (Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo) both required.
• Additional language skills in French, German, Spanish, or Italian are an advantage.
• Experience in contact center or customer-facing roles.
• Proficient in using tools such as Gmail, Zendesk, Slack, and Salesforce.
• Flexible to work rotating shifts, Monday to Sunday, between 7 AM and 11 PM.
• Strong multitasking abilities, quick problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently to resolve issues.
• Empathetic, professional, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Salary range (depending on GDS test score & experience): from 26500 EUR (score 48) to 32000 EUR (score +86)

• Relocation support: no relocation support provided (in any shape or form)

Interview process:

• Submission

• If deemed suitable by the client, tests sent to the candidate

• If they obtain the required result they are invited for HR interview

• Followed by HM interview

• Decision.

Additional notes:

• English assessment, where they need to score 6.9 or above in writing and speaking

• GDS assessment they need to score minimum 48 points

• Must have experience: previous experience of at least 3+ years as a Travel Consultant covering air, rail, and hotel bookings; 3+ years with GDS (Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo) – Both mandatory
