Tiko is an African nonprofit committed to strengthening the potential and resilience of adolescent girls across Africa. They address the “Triple Threat” of unintended pregnancy, HIV infection, and sexual and gender-based violence by building local health ecosystems that provide stigma-free, no-cost, quality-assured services.

For this position, they are happily looking for candidates currently based in Portugal.

The Job

• You coordinate the work that the mobile engineering team needs to do. You are actively involved in cross-team projects that involve development.


• You are responsible for the maintenance and development of new features on their software platform.


• You apply software engineering principles to the design, development, maintenance, testing, and evaluation of their software.


• You ensure that the software you develop is secure and safe when it comes to data protection.

Requirements:  

• You have technical experience with Kotlin and Firebase.


• You’re a natural problem solver and naturally logical - you are always pioneering for the best solution.


• You’ve experienced working in a team environment, as well as independently.


• You don’t want to just write code, you want to make it with quality and scalable


• You have excellent English Skills.
