Misson Position:

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing strategic customer accounts, driving profitable sales growth, and building long-term partnerships within the automotive industry. Acting as the primary commercial interface between the customer and Yazaki, the role focuses on understanding customer needs, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Account Management & Customer Intimacy (Develop and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with assigned customers (here Renault). Act as the Voice of the Customer within YAZAKI while protecting YAZAKI’s interests. Understand customer organizations, strategies, processes and future needs, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction).


• Business Development & Growth (Develop and execute account strategies to achieve profitable sales growth and booking targets. Proactively identify and pursue new business, upselling, cross-selling, diversification and vertical integration opportunities across the ECS portfolio. Build and maintain a robust opportunity pipeline).


• RFQ & Commercial Management (Take commercial ownership of RFQs and opportunities end-to-end, coordinating all relevant internal functions. Prepare competitive commercial proposals, lead customer negotiations and ensure appropriate pricing and profitability. Protect and improve revenue and margins across the assigned accounts).


•  Product & Market Strategy (Understand the ECS product portfolio, customer applications, market trends and competitive environment. Identify portfolio gaps and future customer requirements and work closely with Product Lines, Technical Sales and Engineering to translate them into business opportunities and promotion activities.)


•  Sales Planning, Forecasting & Reporting (Prepare and regularly update sales forecasts, budgets, account plans and opportunity pipelines. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of customer interactions and opportunities in Salesforce and relevant reporting tools. Use data and financial analysis to support fact-based commercial decisions).


• Cross-functional Collaboration (Coordinate effectively with Technical Sales, Product Lines, Engineering, Finance, Operations, EDS and other relevant functions. Drive internal alignment around customer priorities and ensure commitments and actions are followed through).             

 Candidate’s Profile:

• Master Engineering, Business Administration, Sales/Marketing or equivalent


• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Automotive industry (OEM, Tier 1 or Tier 2)


• Fluent English (written and spoken), French considered as a plus


• Proficient in MS Office


• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.


• Strong analytical and analyzing skills


• Excellent organizational and leadership skills


• Critical thinking and negotiation skills


• Availability to travel (20%).
