Sales Engineer Lisboa

Mission

The purpose of this position is to drive sales growth in the Lisbon market by developing new business opportunities and providing technical solutions tailored to customers' needs. The role will focus primarily on prescription, while building and strengthening relationships with distributors and installers to ensure the successful development and conversion of opportunities into sales, contributing to sustainable growth and long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through active prospecting and relationship-building with key industry stakeholders, while maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing customers to ensure long-term business growth and customer retention.

• Promote the technical specification of the company's products and solutions by building relationships with engineering firms, consultancies, design engineers, and other relevant specifiers, with the aim of positioning the solutions in the early stages of projects.

• Assess the technical needs of customers and specifiers, providing expert advice and proposing tailored solutions in close collaboration with the Product Department.

• Promote the inclusion of the company's solutions in project technical specifications, following up on opportunities from the design phase through to execution.

• Respond to technical and commercial inquiries, providing ongoing support to customers and specifiers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.

• Manage and track sales opportunities through the CRM, ensuring information is kept up to date and activity reports are prepared.

• Support sales initiatives and product positioning activities, representing the company at technical meetings, trade fairs, and industry events.

• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions for customers, distributors, and specifiers.

• Work cross-functionally with the Product Department and other company teams to ensure solutions are properly defined and projects are successfully executed.

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering, preferably in a technical discipline.

• At least 3–5 years of experience in consultative sales, distributor sales, or similar roles.

• High level of English, with the ability to communicate fluently in professional settings.

• Proficiency in MS Office and sales management software.

• Willingness to travel frequently.
