Sales Representative

Join Sherwin-Williams as a Sales Representative and play a key role in growing our Automotive Refinish business in Northern Portugal. In this role, you will develop long-term customer partnerships, identify new business opportunities, and drive profitable sales growth while delivering exceptional customer service and technical support. 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
• Identify new business opportunities and grow the customer portfolio
• Promote existing and new product lines to maximize sales growth
• Manage a territory and achieve designated sales targets
• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and profitability
• Build relationships with distributors, end users, and key decision-makers
• Retain and expand existing business through effective account management
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities
• Support customers with technical and commercial product knowledge
• Attend customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver the best customer solutions
• Prepare sales forecasts, business plans, and market reports

What We Are Looking For

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related technical field preferred
• Previous experience in Sales, Account Management, or Business Development
• Experience in the Automotive Coatings, Paints, Coatings, or Chemical industry preferred
• Experience working within an international organization is an advantage

Languages

• Portuguese – Fluent
• English – Good working proficiency

Travel

• Willingness to travel frequently across the assigned territory
