Top Talent Recruitment is working with a leading Outsourcing/BPO company that is looking to recruit a German speaking Senior Customer Service Representative for their office in Porto.

Position: Senior Customer Service Representative (German)

Location: Porto, Portugal

Employment type: Full-time (Permanent)

Remuneration: Base salary

About the role.
The Senior Customer Service Representative will manage and oversee the full order-to-cash cycle, ensuring efficient processes, strong controls, and timely collections. This role plays a key part in mentoring junior team members, resolving complex disputes, and driving continuous improvements to support business growth and working capital optimization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and perform end-to-end O2C operations, including order management, billing, collections, cash application, and dispute resolution.
  • Prepare and review AR aging reports, drive effective collection strategies, and actively reduce DSO.
  • Manage customer and internal stakeholder relationships, resolve escalated disputes, and negotiate payment terms.
  • Ensure compliance with audit, SOX, internal controls, accounting standards, IFRS, and tax requirements.
  • Drive process automation, standardization, and efficiency initiatives across O2C activities.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end closing, reconciliations, and reporting to senior management.
  • Train, coach, and mentor junior O2C specialists to build a high-performing team.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Logistics, Treasury, and Tax.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Native/fluent in German both verbal and written (C2 level). Fluent in English (C1 level)
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • 5–7 years of experience in O2C, Accounts Receivable, or finance operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Strong expertise in O2C processes, financial controls, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven stakeholder management and negotiation capabilities.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Workday.
  • Experience working in global environments with multi-currency transactions.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills.

€1500 base +7.63/ day € meals (14 months salary)

up to €300 performance bonus paid in 12 months. Welcome bonus €3000

Workplace: Porto Office Park. Monday to Friday - 09:00 to 18:00 Days Off - Saturday and Sunday. Ensure candidate meets mandatory requirements; education degree (minimum 12th grade); clean Criminal Record; a valid work permit, residence card or authorization to work in Portugal; and the language level. Health Insurance: For all new hires starting from 10/02/2026, health insurance for Porto will be free only after the initial 6 months, However, they may opt to have health insurance from day one, upon monthly payment deducted from their salaries.
